Olympic Art

I recently had the honour of being director of photography on this short film for the International Olympic Committee's Beijing Olympic Agora Programme.

This project takes forward the spirit and the “Agora” tradition from Ancient Greece, the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage (OFCH) presents a unique cultural project; a vibrant space for the expression of arts, culture, creativity and the values linked to the Olympic Games.

From martial arts to visual arts, this film follows British Olympian artist Neil Eckersley’s classic underdog story. He is one of seven Olympian artists selected for the programme.

Launched by the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage at PyeongChang 2018, the Olympian Artists-in-Residence programme celebrates the link between sport and culture by offering opportunities to athletes with artistic interests to produce and present new artworks during and between editions of the Olympic Games.
