Friday was supposed to be a quiet “getting on top of paperwork” day as I wasn’t originally working until called by BBC Network News asking if I was available to work as a shoot/edit camera operator. An hour later I was filming footage at a factory near Leeds caught up in the breaking body parts story. I ended up shooting and editing the lead story for the BBC 6 o’clock news as well as filming a live stand up report from central leeds with Hugh Pym via a Live U unit in the pouring rain. Busy day but the paperwork never got done! I’m available as a shoot/edit lighting camera operator for all your breaking news, sports and corporate events even at short notice.
